Pioneer Technology Center’s board of education president, Mary Rigdon swears in Phil Bandy as a Pioneer Tech board member. Bandy took his oath for his first full term at the March board meeting.

At Pioneer Technology Center's March Board meeting, Mary Rigdon was recognized for her service to the PTC Board of Education as this past year's president. Dr. Steve Tiger, superintendent, presented Rigdon with a special plaque to honor her for her work. Also at the meeting, Rigdon swore in Phil Bandy to Pioneer Tech's board. This ceremony marked the start of his first full term as a PTC board member.

Pioneer Technology Center is part of the Oklahoma CareerTech system. Pioneer Tech offers career training in automotive service technology, business and computer technology, construction technology, cosmetology, culinary arts, early care and education, health science technology, information technology, industrial technology, machine tool technology, medical assisting, practical nursing, and welding technology to high school juniors and seniors as well as adults in Kay and parts of Osage County. The organization also specializes in continuing education courses and business consulting, along with customized industry and safety training for the area’s business community.
