Blackwell Hospital Recognized for Partnership with Pioneer Tech

Integris Blackwell Regional hospital was honored for its contributions to the development, promotion, and progress of Oklahoma’s Technology Center system during the 40th Annual Oklahoma Career and Technology Education summer conference held recently at Oklahoma City’s Cox Convention Center. Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital was honored for its contributions to the development, promotion, and progress of Oklahoma’s Technology Center system during the 40th Annual Oklahoma Career and Technology Education summer conference held recently at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City.

The Partners for Progress award recognizes businesses and industries that have made outstanding contributions to the improvement, promotion, development, and progress of career and technology education said Dr. Doug Major, Superintendent/CEO of Pioneer Technology Center.

"The administration and staff at Integris Blackwell are great supporters of Pioneer Tech and they believe in the entire career and technology education system," stated Major. "They are continuously trying to improve and provide a better quality education for students. This partnership is truly creating educational opportunities which meet both the needs of the health care system and the educational needs of students pursuing careers in health care."

Integris Blackwell Regional Hospital partners with Pioneer Technology Center to ensure that PTC practical nursing students, in addition to other health program students, implement their practical training in a quality clinical setting. Integris Blackwell administration and staff make exerted efforts, not only to enhance the students’ educational process, but to also help the students complete their requirements for certification and licensing. And ultimately, Blackwell Integris Regional Hospital is one Pioneer Tech’s key partners in developing a highly skilled healthcare workforce.
