Pre-Engineering
Pioneer Tech's Project Lead the Way (PLTW) pre-engineering courses are geared to transition students from the high school to college settings.
The pre-engineering focus is centered on developing problem solving skills by immersing students in real world engineering problems. Each course, uses project-based, hands-on experiences to teach students key concepts and skills of engineering and technology based careers.
Courses offered: • principles of engineering - students explore technology systems and manufacturing processes to find out how math, scicence, and technology help people.
• introduction to engineering design - using computer modeling software, student learn design processes of product design. They solve design problems as they develop, create, and analyze models.
